Fall Photo Opp Ideas for Your Dog

Fall Photo Opp Ideas for Your Dog

Fall ... one of the most spectacular seasons of the year, with trees donning colourful leaves and the ground covered in a blanket of colours. No wonder the season has inspired so many lovely quotes:

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." Albert Camus

"How beautiful the leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.” John Burroughs

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all." Stanley Horowitz

"Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” Lauren DeStefano

"Autumn leaves are falling, filling up the streets; golden colors on the lawn, nature's trick or treat!" Rusty Fischer

Fall is such an enchantingly gorgeous time of year. Fall provides a breathtaking  backdrop for photos of your pet and endless colourful props (ie leaves) to use.

Following are some ideas for photo opps to take of one of your best friends this fall. Bring your patience and be prepared for lots of takes and the possibility of maybe not getting the exact shot you were looking for, but really are any photos of your dog a "bad one"?!

Just be sure to keep it a fun activity for your dog and once they tire of it, take a break or call it a day and try again another day. And don't forget to give them a treat for being such a good sport.

The images are primarily courtesy of Shutterstock, although we have included a few photos from amateur photographers as well. And yes, Shutterstock has professional photographers, so you will likely not have similar photography skills, editing skills, experience or the same quality of camera to come close to duplicating the Shutterstock images; they are simply presented for ideas. Cell phones now-a-days have lots of amazing apps you can use to easily edit your photos.

The most important thing to remember is to keep this fun and if you don't come up with the shot you wanted, you will still have had a fun experience, that both you and your dog enjoyed and that will be remembered fondly.
