We Are Hiring: Shop Assistant / Office Manager (Calgary, AB)

We are currently recruiting for the following position:

SHOP ASSISTANT / OFFICE MANAGER (Calgary/Okotoks, AB)

We are looking for someone who is self motivated and dependable. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Mixing eco friendly products 
• Running and operating a forklift (training can be provided) 
• Pail and bottling product 
• Assisting with daily shop needs such as keeping the lot and shop clean and organized, moving around product and crates with the fork lift or hand jack and more 
• Shipping and Receiving - unloading and loading trucks as they arrive. 
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repetitively 
• Assembling orders for shipping or pick up 
• Must be able and willing to hold a professional attitude and maintain a clean personal appearance at all times. 
• Good communication skills and excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must have own transportation as no buses serve the areas where our shop is currently located or our new shop in Okotoks.

This position will transition into an Office / Shop Manager role effective June/ July 2022. 

Additional responsibilities will include: 

• Accounts Receivable/ Payable 
• Use of QuickBooks, Shopify, Excel, Word and Paypal 
• Booking and managing shipments and truckloads 
• Inventory control of office and shop supplies 
• Greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to other staff 
• Bank deposits 

**We are in the process of relocating to Okotoks effective April 2022. Our main office is currently still in SE Calgary** 

Salary: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
